Will pass out an extra kiss from you......can't say that I've ever seen a mad one....although I've seen videos and pictures. I know they're really strong.
Um, they are extremely strong and with a fighting spirit and powerful punch or two can knock the wind outta you, give you a black eye or fell you unconscious. I will definitely leave the kisses to you. :)
Many thanks for letting me take your turn....all in my imagination where all the roos are the kind of bloaks you want to take on a pic-nic any day of the week.
Dispatcher---"This is 911, what's your emergency, please?"
WB---"Well...This friend...well... not exactly a friend..someone I met on Vox...well not exactly *met*... but sorta met....tried to kiss a kangaroo and the Roo kicked her!"
Dispatcher---"okay...And what's your friend's name?...
That's one possibility. Realityroos -- I see a brand of sunglasses, possibly with coordinated fashions. A vitamin drink. Or a street name for a drug that enables you to forget reality. That's my personal favorite.
That's hysterical, but I bet they've heard stranger things. My brother used to work in at Quick Trip, which is like 7 Eleven. He said all sorts of strange people would come in. Police officers would also stop by all the time to get refreshments and to discourage robberies. One of his police regulars filled my brother in on one of the other regulars who was a particularly odd guy.... Turns out this rather strange guy turned on all his water taps and flooded his house one night, but not before he stripped naked and covered himself in vegetable oil.... When the police came they were met with a wave of rushing water....and a naked, very slippery, mentally disturbed individual. They had a heck of a time trying to apprehend him.
Love it....no rose colored glasses for us !!! Give us shades and exotic vitamin drinks and reality escaping, yet harmles pharmaceuticals that take us on pleasant vacations that last just long enough to not get bored....that's the ticket !!
What a weird fella!!! I hope he's gone from the neighborhood! Sometimes I wonder if the world is getting more deranged, or if it's just that we never paid close enough attention before. It's pretty scary being a parent of a youth these days.
I don't think the guy was dangerous or hurt anyone....he was mentally ill and was taken to the hospital. Hopefully he got some help.
You're totally know what you mean about it being scary to be a parent. Everyday you hope for the best for your child, and hope to be the best parent you can be.....and along the way try to have as much fun as you can.
I'm a DC/MD gal who grew up between Prince Georges's and Montgomery Counties. I've been around some crazy incidents. Last time it was a *neeked as a blue-jay* dude banging on my daughter's front door during my birthday party (yes---he came dressed for the occasion!) He was known as *harmless* but also known to be a drug user. Bullets are never harmless, and who knows when your child or self might get caught in the cross-fire. Very scary. huh?

OMG !!! That would be very disturbing....a naked birthday party visitor.
I come here to Vox for my daily therapy.....a little fantasy and escapism to help insulate me from the ugliness in the world.
Mwah !! Hugs back atcha !!!
