Krissy from Team Vox here - hi everyone!
Have you ever wanted to meet Voxers in your neighborhood or city in person? =:o It's really easy to organize a meetup, and if you're interested in putting one together I'm here to help you out.
What the meetup organizer does (a.k.a. what you do):
- Find a venue for the meetup. You'll want to consider what's easy to get to in your area, and what kind of place won't mind a group of people convening for drinks, maybe some food and lots of conversation. Coffee shops or restaurants are a good place to start, or a bar if your attendees are all 21+. If you expect a large group, you might want to check with the venue ahead of time.
- Pick a date and time. One or two hours in the early evening on a weeknight seems to work well.
- Tell your friends & neighbors! Tell your neighborhood and any Voxers in your area, and ask them to help spread the word. You can also invite people you want to get on Vox, but haven't signed up yet.
How Vox helps (a.k.a. what I do):
- Send you highly coveted Vox goodies. I'll mail you some Vox T-shirts, stickers, phone charms, buttons and other items. (This offer is good until we run out of stuff of course!)
- And help promote the meetup. I'll post on Team Vox to help get the word out.
If you're interested in putting together a meetup, just send me a private message. If you have any questions, feel free to comment and I'll answer them.
Thanks!

haha! sound good to meet up and get connected. well, in the past years I used to organised events, so I'm pretty good in it but do you have people living around Nantes France. A cup of black coffee and home make apple cakes should be good to get around or in a restaurant not too expensive but a place that have a nice view. What about facing the catherdale church.
share with you folk.
The idea of hosting is something to think about.
